Friends Group

The Friends of the Ackley Public Library was formed in the Fall of 2022 by a group of individuals that feels the library is an integral part of the community. The group has a non-profit 501(c)(3) status.

The purpose of the Friends of the Ackley Public Library is the following:

1. To promote knowledge of the functions, resources, services and needs of the library

2. To help generate finanical support for the improvement of the library.

3. To increase the interaction with and use of the library and its services.

4. To provide, when available, volunteers to assist with library projects.
